Philosophy of Care

Our philosophy of care is rooted in our mission to spread the gospel and demonstrate Christ's love through every facet of our ministry.
  • Faith-Based Foundation: Our care is deeply anchored in the teachings of the Bible. We seek to guide individuals and families through the wisdom and truth found in Scripture, ensuring that our support is spiritually enriching and doctrinally sound.

Our Goals and Plans

How are we going to help communities with counseling and education?

Our goal is to implement a collaborative approach with church and community leaders to effectively address the community's needs. We aim to bring together community leaders, faith leaders, and other resources to reduce the stigma of mental health and addiction by equipping leaders with the knowledge and skills to identify and respond to these issues within the church and community.

We plan to create training programs and educational opportunities for leaders, enabling them to grow in their understanding and ability to effectively support the congregation and community. By doing so, we strive to share the Gospel and make disciples of Christ while addressing critical mental health and addiction issues.

Specific Objectives
1. Education on Mental Health and Addiction

  • Objective: Equip faith and community leaders with knowledge about mental health and addiction.
  • Action: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs that educate leaders on recognizing signs of mental health issues and addiction, understanding their impact, and knowing how to respond appropriately.
  • Outcome: Leaders will be better prepared to educate individuals and families about mental health, reducing stigma and promoting a supportive environment.
2. Increasing Awareness and Accessibility

  • Objective: Increase awareness of mental health issues within the community and make it easier for people to seek help.
  • Action: Conduct awareness campaigns and workshops that highlight the importance of mental health, encouraging open discussions and reducing stigma.
  • Outcome: More community members will feel comfortable seeking help, knowing they are supported by informed and compassionate leaders.
3. Promoting Community Connectedness and Support

  • Objective: Foster a sense of community connectedness and support, essential for the long-term recovery of individuals living with mental illnesses.
  • Action: Strengthen ties between faith-based and neighborhood organizations, creating a network of support that includes counseling services, support groups, and community activities.
  • Outcome: Individuals will experience a supportive community environment that aids their recovery and overall well-being.
