Revelation 14:14-20

 • John Conn • Series: Revelation

Revelation 14:14–20 presents a vivid picture of divine judgment using the imagery of two harvests. First, Jesus—described as one like a Son of Man with a crown and sickle—reaps the earth, symbolizing the gathering of the righteous or the end-time harvest. Then a second angel reaps the "grapes of wrath," throwing them into the great winepress of God’s judgment. The resulting blood flows for 1,600 stadia (about 180 miles), portraying the vast and severe extent of judgment on the wicked. This passage highlights both Christ's authority in judgment and the terrifying reality of God’s justice.
